Intrinsic

Intrinsic is a system administration tool developed by Petta Technology for maintaining configuration across a large number of machines in the same environment. Based on the Debian package system, Intrinsic allows system administrators to make configuration changes on one server and then automatically propagate those changes to some or all other hosts on a network. Intrinsic also allows for the distribution of modified versions of applications through the Debian packaging system; for example, we have used Intrinsic to propagate software across Solaris systems. As we continue to develop the Intrinsic system, we hope that more and more system administrators can take advantage of its power and flexibility.
